Just Add Ink # 365 – Sketch Challenge

This weeks Just Add Ink Challenge is a sketch.  These are great because there are so many possibilities.  I made 2 cards this week for the Challenge.  Here is the sketch…..No automatic alt text available.

Here is my first card.

I used the Fabulous Flamingo Stamp Set, which is one of my new ones.  I really like it too.  The sentiment comes from a stamp set called Thoughtful Banners – its a sweet little set of words.  I used some of the silver thread, silver foil card and little pink rhinestones to add a bit of bling.

And the second card I made is a fun Everyday Hero card:

I just love this stamp set too.  Its cheeky and fun!!

To find more examples of projects using this Sketch Challenge go to Just Add Ink and have a look at all the creations.  And remember…..have a go at this challenge and share your project with us.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 363 – Anniversary

Earlier this year, my friends Kim and Sean celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary – cool aye??  Congratulations !!

Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people standing and wedding

It really made me reflect on how wonderful it was to be celebrating a milestone Anniversary and how the time has flown – it definitely did not feel like 20 years to me.   I thought about all the things that have happened in the time – the good, the bad and the laughs we’d had.

It also made me suggest this challenge.  Just Add Anniversary.

Here is the card I put together:

For this card, I used some golds and silvers together.  I painted the gauze with gold paint and I like the texture that it adds to the card.

Here is a link to Just Add Ink – where you can check out all the Anniversary cards from the Design Team and share you Anniversary creations with us.

Kim – I thought, now that I have finally put together an Anniversary card I could send it to you (belated), however, I realise it has a bird on it, which isn’t your thing.   So instead, I dedicate this post and challenge idea to you.  Perhaps you will enjoy looking at all the Anniversary cards in this challenge.

Congratulations to both you and Sean. xx

Just Add Ink # 361 – Choose Two

Hi, the next Just Add Ink Challenge is here.Image may contain: text

The idea this week is to choose Two from the following:  Flowers, Washi Tape, Watercolour  and then use them when making your project.  So there are endless options/ideas here……..

I decided on the Flowers and Watercolour.  Here is the card I made.

Image may contain: drawing

I stamped onto wet water colour paper and then just left the stamped images to bleed and blend.  Some of the images dry clearer than others so you get this kinda dreamy effect.  I finished it off with a bit of ribbon, glitter paper and crystal effects.

To check out what Two elements the rest of the Design Team have chosen and to see how they have put them together go to Just Add Ink.   Remember to share your creation with us too.

Just Add Ink # 359 – Inspiration

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is an Inspiration Challenge.  This has been suggested by Kim.  Here is the Inspiration picture.Image may contain: flower and text

So you can use this picture to create a card or scrapbook page or 3D item.  You could use the colours, shapes or flower picture as inspiration for what ever you create.   I made a card…..here it is:

No automatic alt text available.

I used a stencil and some sparkle medium to make the sparkly shape.  It’s really fun stuff to use and also creates great texture on the card.

So, go to Just Add Ink to check out all the other Design Team projects for this challenge and also share yours with us.
