I like working with Sketches because I find having a Sketch as a starting point makes it easier to start putting the elements of my cards together. The Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge this week been put together by Tina – and I think it is going to be a very popular challenge. Here is the sketch:
Here are the cards I made using this Sketch:
On this one I used the English Garden DSP, Flourish Thinlits and the Detailed Floral Thinlits with Rose Red and Blushing Bride.
For this card I used the Detailed Floral Thinlits and the Floral Boutique DSP – while makes very elegant cards. Love these products and colours. (Sorry about the colour of the pic).

Often, when I am creating things for Just Add Ink Challenges, I am also making them for other things too…….friends birthdays, challenges that I am doing with my sister or as projects for card classes. So this week I was thinking….how can I incorporate this Challenge and something else at the same time…….
Then last weekend I went out for a night of crafting with friends, where we all made a few boxes…..and this really inspired me to come up with this project…….which will also be used for a class project.
An inside……it’s a Secret box!
The Just Add Ink Design Team have put together some lovely projects this week……so go and check them out. And then join us for this Challenge.

This week is Just Add Stripes week. For this Challenge I had an idea for a Black and White theme – however once I got crafting I ended up with some black and white stripes and some bold bright colours. I actually ended up making 4 cards that I am also using for a Stamp a Stack Class. Here they are:
The colours are Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Pacific point.
There are lots and lots of possibilities for Just Add Stripes. Go to Just Add Ink to check out the Design Teams projects and add yours too. Happy Stamping!

The Challenge at Just Add Ink this week is to add a pop up card! What a fun challenge this is. I really enjoyed putting together my Pop up card.
There are several types of Pop Up Cards, but I finally decided on a pedestal pop up.
For the front of this card I CASED the layout from fellow DT member, Delys. She gave me a card with a similar layout which I really liked – so I have used it here. I also love the colours in the Twitterpated papers so used those for inspiration too.
So – go to Just Add Ink to see some more Pop-up Cards and visit each of the Design Team blogs where we will each reveal how they all pop up!
