This weeks Just Add Ink Challenge is a sketch. These are great because there are so many possibilities. I made 2 cards this week for the Challenge. Here is the sketch…..
Here is my first card.
I used the Fabulous Flamingo Stamp Set, which is one of my new ones. I really like it too. The sentiment comes from a stamp set called Thoughtful Banners – its a sweet little set of words. I used some of the silver thread, silver foil card and little pink rhinestones to add a bit of bling.
And the second card I made is a fun Everyday Hero card:
I just love this stamp set too. Its cheeky and fun!!

Happy Easter everyone. If you were expecting an Easter Bunny, Basket or Egg Project this week….your out of luck I’m afraid. Although, I’m sure there will be a few Easter Eggs floating around at some point over the weekend. The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch:

As well as having some texture in the glitter background, I also added some Crystal Effects to the Ladybugs to make them shiny and pop out.

It’s nearly the 17th March and that means St Patrick’s Day. So we are celebrating by Just Adding Green. I put together a quick Birthday card using Green Card Stock, DSP and In
I used the leaves comes from the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set – which is very versatile and pretty. The sentiment is the Pretty Petites Stamp Set and Petite Curly Label Punch from Sale-a-brations – so cute.
So if you are keen to Just Add Green – visit Just Add Ink and see what the Design Team has put together.
Also – while I am here, I wanted to show you a little card Sarah (6) made for her cousin last weekend. Sarah did all the stamping and colour herself (no stamp-a-ma-jig required). I think she did pretty well. This is her favourite Stamp set.
Also – you might notice what looks like and ‘S’ in the top right hand corner – but Sarah tells me that’s a ‘2’ – because her cousin was turning 2.

I’ve had a very quite time in the craft room lately – not much happening at all – there’s been holidays, sickness and just the need to have a little rest. But I’ve been back in the craft room this week – pottering around.
I have put together a little card for the Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge this week. Firstly – let me show you the Sketch.
I decided to flip the Sketch over and approach it from a different perspective……
This was fun and colourful to put together. I’ve used the All in the Family and Just Beachy Stamp Sets.
This Sketch has inspired the Design team in many many ways – visit Just Add Ink to see the variety of idea and things you can do with one Sketch. And then have a go yourself and share it with us.

It’s Colour Combo time. Here are the colours, they are really beautiful………
To me – I thought these colours were quite girly and pretty. However, I decided to use them on a boys card.
I just loved playing with this Stamp Set – it’s called Dinoroar. They are so cute and can be used for both Boys and Girls.
The Design Team have put together some beautiful projects using these Colours – go to Just Add Ink
and check them out.

The Just Add Ink Sketch challenge this week is a round sketch. It really made me want to make a card with Flowers and Butterflies on it……..but then again……..I thought I would do something different. So looking at my stamps I selected a new Stamp set – that I have only used a few times so far. It’s called Under the Big Top and includes a selection of great little Circus characters. I also used the Designer Series Papers that match the Stamp set – Big Top Birthday. This helped me decide on the colours for my project – Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.
Rather than making a circular card, I decided to put my circle onto my card. I embossed the bottom portion of the card with the Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder and added some Linen Thread embellishments up the top.
