Just Add Ink have a Choose Two Challenge this week. You can choose from Flowers, Gingham or Splatters. I choose Flowers and Gingham.
I used a stencil to create a Gingham look background. The flowers are made with the new Paper Florist Dies. The colour is the new Lemon Lolly – which is lovely and soft.

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a Choose Two – Pastels, Banner or Baby!
I pulled out a favourite Stamp Set for this card. It’s called Beautiful Moments (although now retired). The colours I used are Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and Petal Pink – they are all from the Subtles Collection.

Just Add Ink have an Inspiration Challenge running this week. It’s pretty and has loads of different images and ideas that can be used in your projects this week.
When I looked at the pictures, the colours and heart shapes really grabbed me. I went straight to my stash of Fresh Freesia card stock. It’s such a pretty colour…..I realised that I must like the colour because I only had one sheet left!!
I used the flowers from the Beautifully Happy Stamp set. It is a lovely 2 step stamping set – it makes colouring the flowers (by stamping them) super fast and easy.
I finished the card off with an embossed background and Fresh Freesia ribbon.
You can join this Challenge at Just Add Ink and also see other projects made by the Design Team.
The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is Just Add No Stamping!
I decided this Challenge was the perfect opportunity to make a fancy fold card.
I made an X Shaped Aperture Card, that I had seen online – made by Donna Rawhouser of Iced Images.
I used a filagree type die (that I found in my stash), a sentiment die and the Daisy Punch. I adjusted the measurements slightly too, so that the card fits into a Standard envelope.
I made another one using the New Horizons products as well.
These were fun to make and a great way to showcase your papers, dies and embellishments.

It’s been a busy week around here but I have still had time to put together a few cards. The cards I made this week all featured the same layout. It’s a Window card.
This week at Just Add Ink – we have an Inspiration Challenge. This means you use the Inspiration picture to inspire your cards or projects.
Here is the Window card I made for this Challenge
It’s kinda a beachy theme, with similar colours to the Inspiration pic. I added a rustic bow and an anchor charm.
When you open the card, it has a little fancy fold inside.

I really enjoyed making these Window cards. See below a few more.
As I said, it has been a busy week around here. First up my daughter had her Year 12 Ball.
It was quite a build up with all the shopping for the dress, shoes, accessories. Then Hair, makeup, nails and other beauty treatments.
Sarah looked amazing, so grown up! This is a pic of Sarah (in Red) with her friend Sharnae.
The following night we had a family outing to a Six60 Concert at Kings Park. It was a great night out with Neil and I, Sarah, Ana and her Aunty and Cousin and friends.
I started by attending a Team Stamping day where we made several great projects and cards. We had a great time catching up, chattering and grazing too.
Since then I have spent a bit of time making Shaker cards. So I decided to put together a Shaker card for this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge.
The Challenge this week is a Colour Challenge. The colours are all current In-colours, they are bright and bold.
I teamed the colours up with the Pierced Blooms dies for my Shaker card. This card uses a Cellophane bag for the Shaker – so it was fairly quick to put together.
Here is another Shaker in this style that I made this week using the Love Cats Stamp Set – such a sweet set!
And here’s another cute little Love Cats Shaker card.
So perhaps you want to try a Shaker Card this week? Or perhaps you just want to play with the colours and join the Just Add Ink Challenge?
We are getting to the end of January 2023 already and I am starting to get into my Craft room. As usual, it’s in a state of disarray, but I have decided that just means, I’ve been creative!
This week I have been playing with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set and Fancy Flora DSP.
I teamed them up with the Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge to make a pocket card.
These papers are so great – some look floral while others look like abstract paintings. Great colours too.
The Beautifully Happy stamp set, works for me because it features Two-Step Stamping which means fun and fast colouring in. Fast, no fuss colouring in, is great.
