The Just Add Ink Colour Challenge this week is perfect for this time of year…….Just the perfect colours for me to create a Christmas Card with……..

I added Pool Party to my card.   To make the back ground I sponged a bit of Pool Party and then some Lovely Lipstick through a stencil.    Well…………to be honest, it was only meant to be the Pool Party, but I picked up the wrong sponge!!   LOL – oh well, I just adapted it a bit.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 418 Colour Challenge

This morning as I went off to work the sun was just rising.  As it rose up over the horizon and the rays of light beamed out in channels……it was so lovely.  I tried to snap a pic of it on my phone…..but it didn’t look as good as what I was seeing.

The colours in a sky reminded me of this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge – it’s a colour Challenge suggested by Jo.  The colours are really pretty and girly – although I must admit that the softness of the Seafoam was Challenging for me.  It’s such a lovely colour though.

Anyway – here is the card I put together.

The idea for this card came from a card I saw in a recent stamping magazine.  I’m not even sure now, which magazine it was now, but the idea stuck in my mind and here’s my take on it.

As I said before, I think this colours are really pretty.  To see some more pretty cards from the Design Team and to join our Challenge, follow this link to Just Add Ink.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 408 – Colour Combo

Hi Everyone,
It’s time to get creative for the next Just Add Ink Colour Challenge.   These colours were suggested by Rochelle and I must say, I found them quite easy to work with.   For this time of year, they are perfect for creating Mothers Day card or other girly projects.

Here is the card I put together:

This is the Fabulous Flamingo Stamp set – it’s perfect for these colours.  I used a bit of Sahara Sand Ink, which is one of my fav Neutrals.  The die cut leaves are from the Botanical Builder Dies.

At this stage, I have left the card sentiment and Bling free…..but may add those things later when I decide who I’m sending it too.

As I said before, these are great colours and we would love you to join in on the Challenge at Just Add Ink.  You can use the colours to inspire a Scrapbooking layout, 3D project or card and then share it with us.

I think these are very Christmasy colours and therefore I have made a Christmas card.  I used a stencil to make a background.   I actually got the idea off a restaurant wall…..except their colours scheme was more neutral than this.  I added the Glitter paper for some sparkle.
