Just Add Ink # 641 – Inspiration Challenge!

It’s been a busy week around here but I have still had time to put together a few cards. The cards I made this week all featured the same layout. It’s a Window card.

This week at Just Add Ink – we have an Inspiration Challenge. This means you use the Inspiration picture to inspire your cards or projects.

Here is the Window card I made for this Challenge

It’s kinda a beachy theme, with similar colours to the Inspiration pic. I added a rustic bow and an anchor charm.

When you open the card, it has a little fancy fold inside.

As I said, it has been a busy week around here. First up my daughter had her Year 12 Ball.

It was quite a build up with all the shopping for the dress, shoes, accessories. Then Hair, makeup, nails and other beauty treatments.

Sarah looked amazing, so grown up! This is a pic of Sarah (in Red) with her friend Sharnae.

The following night we had a family outing to a Six60 Concert at Kings Park. It was a great night out with Neil and I, Sarah, Ana and her Aunty and Cousin and friends.

Just Add Ink # 606 – Sketch Challenge.

This week the Just Add Ink Challenge is a Sketch Challenge.

I decided to flip the Sketch to make my card and used the Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set with a selection of colours to create a multi-coloured panel. I then cut the panel to match the sketch.

For the embellishments and sentiment I used the Art Gallery Stamp Set, Sunflowers Dies and a little bit of White Bakers Twine.

The colours I used are Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Flirty Flamingo and Mango Melody.

Just Add Ink # 604 – Case Yourself!

Hi ya, well here’s an interesting Challenge! Just Add a Case of Yourself!

So that means CASING a previous card that you have made. It could be from a previous JAI Challenge or perhaps a card you have created, that you love.

This Challenge made me go back an review a whole lot of Challenges and pick out a few of my favs, that I will share with you at the end of this post.

The card I chose to CASE was from Just Add Ink Challenge # 400 (18 March 2018). Such a pretty card with soft colours and a Bokeh background.

I decided this time to create a Bokeh background using really bold colours. The colours are Merry Merlot, Old Olive and Tranquil Tide. I then decorated the Card using the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set.

Just Add Ink # 593 – Colour Challenge

This week the Just Add Ink Challenge is a Colour Challenge. The colours are bright and summery. Here is the card I made.

I created a background panel by tapping my ink pad directly onto the card stock. For the smaller panel I spritzed the cardstock with water and then washed it with an inked water painter. To finish the card off I added some little Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 565 – Color Challenge

Hello everyone!….well there’s only a couple of days left in July and what a stormy, wet and windy July it has been here. The amount of rain we have had, is unheard of. It seems every time I look out the window it’s chucking it down!

It’s time again for another challenge with Just Add Ink! 
This week we have a colour challenge with 2 of the In-colours and Basic Black.

I used the Art Gallery Stamp Set to make a floral card.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 551 – 3D!

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a 3D Challenge and has been suggested by Rachael.

For this 3D Challenge I decided to put together a mini album. My album is based on one I saw by Everly Scrap.

I have not added the photos to my album yet, so just have blank spaces.

For this Album I have used the Fine Art Floral suite of products – Stamp Set, Dies and DSP.

This weeks Just Add Ink Challenge is a Sketch that has been suggested by Kelly. It’s a goodie! I used the Fine Art Floral DSP and the Art Gallery Stamps. I really love the colours in these papers.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 539

Hi ya,

I can’t believe it’s the end of January already……how did that happen?

School Holidays almost over again, as it’s back to School next week. I’ve had a great week, with a couple of days off work, soaking up a bit of sun and enjoying time at an Adventure Water Park.

Now it’s time to Craft……

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is Just Choose Two – Banner -Border-Bow. My card this week actually features all of those things….Whoops! Didn’t plan that but when I finished putting it together I realised I had all three elements there.

The Stampin Up Products I have used on this card all come from the Fine Art Floral Suite. I even played with Gilded Leafing – which is so much fun and really effective too.
