The idea for this weeks challenge was suggested by Nikki – and it’s a darn good one too. The Design Team have put together some wonderful projects with Fun Backgrounds – a few of which you may want to try. I certainly loved this Challenge. Here is my project…..
As you can see, I decided to use some DSP and weave my background. This is such an effective technique and can be done many ways. Not only can you use DSP but you can also use plain or embossed card stock or card stock you have stamped (either before or after you have done the weaving).
So show us your Fun Background ideas at Just Add Ink – and also check out the Design Team Members projects.
What a neat idea! I really love the colour combo too 🙂
What a great technique, it certainly has a visual WOW factor!
I’m impressed with this background Chantell, very clever and such a great look. Awesome idea to use up lots of scrap DSP strips too. xxx
Using DSP worked so well for this Chantell. Love the texture and random colour pops topped off by that lovely flower 🙂 xxx
Love your background Chantell and it would be a good way to use strips of leftover DSP, for those of us who can’t through any scraps away! Love the flower too!
This is such a fabulous background and such a clever idea Chantell! I love the DSP you’ve used and your flower is ah-mazing!
This is beautiful, Chantell; I love how unique your creations are. Gorgeous colours, love the flower, and the subtle addition of ribbon is just perfect.
This background is just WAY too cool!! Love it when I saw it on the challenge blog!! 🙂 Gorgeous colors!! HUGS
