Just Add L, is this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge……I decided to Just Add Lattice!
I used a couple of Lattice dies on my card. Using one as a stencil to sponge the back ground. Then I cut the other to make a banner. Here is my card:

Here is the card I put together:
I made the rainbow background using a paint brush and some ink. And then I used the Balloon element to complete the card.

Hello again – here’s the next Just Add Ink Challenge. For Challenge # 337 Kim suggested that we add a Doily or a Die Cut or Patterned Paper to our projects.
I added Patterned Paper and a Doily.
To be honest – I find it hard to add doily’s to my projects, although I always like other projects I see with them on. So I decided to have a go.
I have used to Celebrate Today Stamp set.
Here is another card I made with Patterned paper and a Doily:
So have a go with this Challenge – I’m sure you will enjoy it – I know the Design Team did. Check out their projects at Just Add Ink.
I like working with Sketches because I find having a Sketch as a starting point makes it easier to start putting the elements of my cards together. The Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge this week been put together by Tina – and I think it is going to be a very popular challenge. Here is the sketch:
Here are the cards I made using this Sketch:
On this one I used the English Garden DSP, Flourish Thinlits and the Detailed Floral Thinlits with Rose Red and Blushing Bride.
For this card I used the Detailed Floral Thinlits and the Floral Boutique DSP – while makes very elegant cards. Love these products and colours. (Sorry about the colour of the pic).
So join us at Just Add Ink for this Challenge – it’s a goodie! Check out what the Design Team have made and share your creation with us.
Hi ya, it’s Friday and that means time for the next Just Add Ink Challenge. This week we have a Sketch Challenge that has been created by Tina. I idea is to use the sketch as inspiration when creating your next crafting project. Here is the sketch:
And here is the card I made:
I used the stamp set called Best Thoughts. I large flower is a perfect focal point for any card and can be used in many ways. I used Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder. I highlighted the flower with my white gel pen.
The design team have put together some pretty amazing, fun and creative cards using this sketch. We hope that you can join us in this Challenge and share it with us on Just Add Ink.
Well – I’m a little late in posting this – but I’ll explain. As I mentioned last week, when I am creating projects I often use whatever I have made for a couple of things. Like challenges or card classes or friends birthdays etc……and this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge was one of those.
This Challenge – Just Add Stripes – was also a Challenge I set with my Sister and friend Kim. So I made one card and sent it to Kim and Nadine last week (knowing it would take a week or so to get there)…….and then also used for the Just Add Ink. So the idea was that both would be able to be revealed at the same time. And today – I confirmed that the cards had reached Nadine and Kim – so now I can complete my Just Add Ink post.
The Challenge for Just Add Ink was suggested by Patrice – and I think it might be quite popular. To Just add…. Stripes you could use stripes on designer paper or some stamped or masked ones or washi tape!
Here is my card…..
I created my stripes by masking and sponging. It’s quite a neat effect. And then I found a little teddy that also had a striped shirt – so he fitted in quite well.
Check out all the other striped projects at Just Add Ink – and join us in this challenge.
We have a Sketch Challenge this week at Just Add Ink. The sketch was put together by Tina. Here it is….
Often, when I am creating things for Just Add Ink Challenges, I am also making them for other things too…….friends birthdays, challenges that I am doing with my sister or as projects for card classes. So this week I was thinking….how can I incorporate this Challenge and something else at the same time…….
Then last weekend I went out for a night of crafting with friends, where we all made a few boxes…..and this really inspired me to come up with this project…….which will also be used for a class project.
An inside……it’s a Secret box!
The Just Add Ink Design Team have put together some lovely projects this week……so go and check them out. And then join us for this Challenge.
