Just Add Ink Challenge # 428…….Colour Challenge!!

Well here we are for the next Just Add Ink Challenge.   # 428 is a Colour Challenge that is tropical, summery and I’m sure will inspire.

I think these are really pretty colours.  Here is the card I made:

I used the Perennial Birthday Stamp set – which you may have worked out is my fav Stamp set at the moment.  I am loving creating pretty floral cards with it.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 379 Inspiration……

Hi there, here is the next Just Add Ink Challenge – it’s an Inspiration challenge and has been suggested by Kelly.    This summery photo can be used to provide inspiration for your project in any way that you like…… – the colours, layout, images or the patterns you see – so there are loads of ways it can be used.

Here is the card I made……

I used a Water colour and salt technique to make the colourful circle element.  It was loads of fun to see the way it turned out.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 371 – Just Choose Two……

This weeks Just Add Ink Challenge (suggested by Di) is Just Choose Two – so you can choose two out of Kids, Pets or Patterned Paper and use them in your project.  I went for the pets and patterned paper.

Here is this card I made.

The stamp set I used is called Bella & Friends – it’s a collection of cute dog images.  The DSP is from the Naturally Eclectic DSP pack.   I’ve used the Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide Card stock.

I tell ya…..the Lemon Lime Twist is becoming my new Fav!!

Just Add Ink # 302 – Colour Combo

The Just Add Ink Challenge this a very pretty colour combo challenge.  Here are the colours…..

Although, I have to admit, I didn’t actually have any Watermelon Wonder in my craft room, so I have to improvise with the closest colour I had, which was Calypso Coral.  Here is the card I made:

I found that I did not have very much in the way of Mint Macaron in my craft stash – so I had to improvise a little bit.  I think it turned out OK though.

Just Add Ink # 269 – Colour Combo

It’s Color Combo time at Just Add Ink this week and it’s a great Colour Combo too – put together by Kim.

This incorporates a couple of the In-colours, Tip Top Taupe and Lost Lagoon and then two very pretty blues, Soft Sky and Pool Party.

 

When I looked in my stash of stuff in my craft room I realised I did not have any Tip Top Taupe and the only Soft Sky item I had, was some ribbon.  So I did have to improvise a little.  Instead of Tip To Taupe I used Crumb Cake.  Here is my card.

Just Add Ink # 230 – Just Add Dad!

Hi everyone!…it time for the next Just Add Ink Challenge.  It’s a very special one this week.   Just Add Dad!

This challenge is celebrating Dad’s, because this weekend, it’s Fathers Day in Australia and New Zealand,    So it’s a great time to create a special card or project especially for Dad.

Here is my card:

I’ve used a couple of the new In-colours, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon.   I’m loving that stitched satin ribbon!

I don’t know if any of you joined us at Just Add Ink for last weeks challenge?  It was an Inspiration Challenge – using  wonderful, colourful, rainbow pictures.  There were heaps of amazing projects that were shared with us…..I really enjoyed looking at them and think I will go back for more looks and inspiration.

The reason I mentioned it, is because the card I have done this week started with a technique shared in last weeks challenge.  Leah Weir shared a beautiful card with a great background technique – and I just had to give it a go.

This was my first attempt.  It’s fun, easy and very effective,  so you should try it too.

We did Fathers Day a bit early.  First we met Ana and Jeremy for lunch – which was very nice.  Then afterwards Sarah and Neil went GoKarting.  Both loved it – and they have been back again this week for another go after school.

Just Add Ink # 228 – Colour Combo

We have a very bold colour combo challenge at Just Add Ink this week.  The colour combo was put together by Kim.  Here are the colours…

This colour combo features 2 of the new In-colours – Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow.  Both are stunning colours.  I love the richness of the Blackberry Bliss and the shiny Mossy Meadow ribbon.
