Bron’s 60th Birthday Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,
Today I am sharing in a fun Birthday Blop Hop Celebration for my friend Bronwyn Eastley.

I first met Bron in 2010 when we both became Design Team members at Just Add Ink.
We have been sharing our love of papercraft and card making ever since.

Brons 60th Birthday is coming up later this year and with everything happening in the world at the moment, Bron’s original Birthday celebrations have not gone to plan. Therefore she has come up with a fabulous idea of running a series of blog hops to celebrate.

Bron has got together a group of stamping friends and we are all celebrating Bron’s 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes!
We have an inspiration pic for tonight’s hop (Bron’s Blog Header) ……”

This is such a pretty picture – calming, soft colours with an air of Holidays!

I set to work and made a card (which you can see below)….and then the more I thought about Bron and her crafting the more I could not get Easel cards out of my mind……

I’m pretty sure it was Bron that introduced me to Easel cards so I decided I had to make one for this Blog Hop.

I used the Pierced Blooms dies with Blushing Bride, White, Sahara Sand and Early Espresso. I love how the piercing add texture.

And here is the card I made. As you can see I used similar elements.

Next in the Hop is Sara Levin, click the Next button below to move onto Sara’s Blog. Be sure to Hop your way all through to see project made by Bron’s friend in honor of her Birthday.

  1. Your beautiful card took me back to my days in the JAI DT where I made my first circle easel card. i absolutely LOVE the Pierced Blooms Dies and I love the soft, beachy colours you have used on both cards. Thanks so much for joining in on the 1st virtual 60th birthday celebration.

  2. Fabulous cards Chantell! I’m loving the background behind the die-cuts – very creative.

  3. Beautiful cards Chantell. Like you, I love the pierced blooms dies and you have used them so beautifully. Your colours and layers are delightful. Your circle easel card is special.

  4. Oh Chantell I love your story. It was my 10 year SU anniversary this week (although I had been stamping for a few years before I joined), and back then ( before Pinterest ) I eagerly awaited every one of JAI posts. As soon as I saw your card I remembered the famous Butterfly Easel card which she made in several formats. Your Easel card is perfect- and a perfect way to celebrate a special birthday for a special friend.

  5. How pretty! I love the basket weave embossing on your sweet easel card. So effective. Love both of these Chantell. x

  6. Perfect way to celebrate Bron with this stunning circle easel!! These blooms are just glorious!! I love them, I love your cards. I love the design. I love the colours. It’s all stupendous!
