This card mixes the old with the new. The flowers come from a great stamp set called Summer Silhouettes and they leafy dies are the flourish thinlits.

I must say…..initially I was Challenged by these colours………..well – isn’t that what it’s all about?
But once I got underway, you just couldn’t stop me!
I made a little gift box with 4 little cards inside. This project was inspired by my friend Kim – who had made something similar for me a little while ago.
Then each of the cards were inspired by other stampers – Narelle Farrugia, Rita Wright, Lisa Martz and others although I do not remember now where the ideas originated from.

My card came out pretty CAS (for me). Summer Silhouettes is one of my fav stamp sets – so versatile.

It’s nearly the 17th March and that means St Patrick’s Day. So we are celebrating by Just Adding Green. I put together a quick Birthday card using Green Card Stock, DSP and In
I used the leaves comes from the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set – which is very versatile and pretty. The sentiment is the Pretty Petites Stamp Set and Petite Curly Label Punch from Sale-a-brations – so cute.

Also – while I am here, I wanted to show you a little card Sarah (6) made for her cousin last weekend. Sarah did all the stamping and colour herself (no stamp-a-ma-jig required). I think she did pretty well. This is her favourite Stamp set.
Also – you might notice what looks like and ‘S’ in the top right hand corner – but Sarah tells me that’s a ‘2’ – because her cousin was turning 2.
