The Just Add Ink Challenge this week allows us to combine a couple of things for our projects. The idea is to Choose Two! Hearts or Flowers or Butterflies. Here is the card I put together:
My idea was to try to use the pages from a colouring book in some way – so I die cut some Butterflies (and left them uncoloured). I used a floral DSP to add some colour too.
So go to Just Add Ink and check out all the great projects that also Just Add Two (Hearts, Flowers or Butterflies). And remember to share your project with us.
Happy New Year everyone – 2017….here we go!!
At Just Add Ink we always kick the year off with a Blog Hop! The 2017 Blog Hop theme is “Pop Up or Interactive” This is going to be a fun challenge and we hope you will join the challenge with us.
I decided to make an Interactive card – a Venetian Blind card.
This idea came from a card that my friend Kim gave me many years ago. I have always looked at the card she gave me and treasured it and decided it was time for me to have a go at making one. So here it is……
This card was fun and easy to make (once I worked it out). It also has endless possibilities of what you could put behind your blind.
The Blog Hop is set up in a loop so it doesn’t matter where you start. All you need to do to follow along, is click the “Next” Button at the end of each post and you will be taken to the next stop. Remember the Blog Hop also incorporates the Just Add Ink Challenge for this week. You can join in this week’s challenge by making a Pop Up or Interactive project.
So – hope that all makes sense……..here we go, now it’s time for you to move onto the next JAI Design Team Member. Just click on the button below to move onto Jan’s Blog.
Hi ya, can you believe we have come to the end of another Just Add Ink year? Yep that’s right – this is the last challenge for 2016.
The Challenge is Just Add … N, suggested by Tina. So that means you just think is something starting with N and then use that in your project. I decided on Navy and Nativity. Here is my card.
I embossed my image in Silver and then layered over the top of it with StazOn Black on Acetate. So it kinda gave a stained glass window effect (hard to photograph though).
Check out some other Just Add Ink projects here and share your projects with us too.
This non-voting challenge will run for two weeks and close on 4th January.
The Just Add Ink team is taking a break for our summer holidays and we hope you will join us again in 2017 – starting with a Blog Hop on January 20.
Merry Christmas to you all – hope you enjoy some holidays with family and friends and a bit of crafting.
Although there are not many weeks left of 2016, this is such a fabulous time of year to get to your craft table or room and create. And this weeks Challenge is perfect for creating …. because Just Add Gift Tags allows you to create small unique pieces of art with loads of Bling and Glitter and Ribbon and…..you name it!
Hi ya, it’s time for the new Just Add Ink challenge. We have an Inspiration Challenge fore you this week that has been suggested by Jan. Isn’t it great – there is lots of great colours and textures in this image.
So you can use the colours, objects or patterns you see in the image to inspire your project. These are always fun challenges and we look forward to seeing what great projects you come up with. Then share them with us at Just Add Ink.
Here is the card I made.
Hello again – here’s the next Just Add Ink Challenge. For Challenge # 337 Kim suggested that we add a Doily or a Die Cut or Patterned Paper to our projects.
I added Patterned Paper and a Doily.
To be honest – I find it hard to add doily’s to my projects, although I always like other projects I see with them on. So I decided to have a go.
I have used to Celebrate Today Stamp set.
Here is another card I made with Patterned paper and a Doily:
So have a go with this Challenge – I’m sure you will enjoy it – I know the Design Team did. Check out their projects at Just Add Ink.
