Just Add Ink have an Inspiration Challenge this week. This is a really lovely pic. I really like the blue glass container and the bold golden flowers.
I used the colours in the pic along with a cool new Stencil (that my sister brought me) to create this card.
BTW – Such a fun Stencil….you might be seeing a bit of it!

I used a stencil to make an interesting Black and White background. I used the “Hey Girlfriend” stamp set (retired) to add a pop of colour.

Hi ya – it’s time for a Social Stamping Blog Host!
The Social Stamping Blog Host’s are the idea of Kelly Kent. The idea was that through stamping and craft, we can share our crafting projects with everyone, to stay connected. Although, where I live (Perth) things are getting back to the new normal – but Social Stamping is so much fun….that we are going to continue to do it! Yay!
The theme this time is ‘Sympathy’. Here is the card I made.
I used a stencil and some embossing paste to create a textured background. The Stamp Sets I used are Forever Blossoms, Peaceful Moments.

I’m sure you would agree with me that there is a lot going on in the world today –
not just our usual day to day stuff but all the CoVid19 news and developments.
I know there are a lot of people stressed out and worried about it.
You only have to see the News coverage of people fighting in the Super market over groceries and bulk buying toilet paper – it’s just crazy.
So it’s lovely that our next Just Add Ink Challenge has a calm and natural feel to it.

It’s fresh, beachy and a fairly simple picture. Here is the card I made:
I flipped the picture and used some vellum to create a foamy wave type effect. I used a stencil and sponged the Vellum with White ink. The Stamp Sets I have used are called Seaside Sketches and High Tide.

At Just Add Ink this week we a running an “Inspiration” challenge. It was suggested by Rachael. The colours in the pic are lovely and I think it’s also kinda a Wintery pic too. Here is the card I made for this Challenge:
I used a stencil and some Embossing paste in the background. Then I repeat stamped the sentiment in different colours – I think its quite effective.

I think these are very Christmasy colours and therefore I have made a Christmas card. I used a stencil to make a background. I actually got the idea off a restaurant wall…..except their colours scheme was more neutral than this. I added the Glitter paper for some sparkle.

Hi, here’s the next Just Add Ink challenge! Karren suggested we use Stencils for Challenge # 373.
There are so many different Stencil designs to choose from and there are so many different ways to use them too. I use them quite a bit – love them actually. You can sponge them with ink (or use a dauber), smear them with embossing paste or glitter or spritz paint over them.
For my stencil card, I decided to make a background using a Stencil that has bold flowers and leaves.
I added some vellum, cord and the new Happy Birthday die cut sentiment to finish it off.
