Just Add Ink Challenge # 547 – Inspiration!

Just Add Ink have an Inspiration Challenge this week. The colours in the picture are both bright and soft at the same time..

I made a colourful Sunflower card using the Celebrate Sunflower Dies and a variety of colours.

Sponging the colours onto the sunflowers even made a lovely colourful design on my grid paper!

Just Add Ink Challenge # 536 Inspiration

This week at Just Add Ink we have an Inspiration Challenge:

I looked around for a Snowman…….but it’s summer here, so there are no Snowmen around.

And then, I got a surprise card in the post…….. Love getting Happy Mail!! Thank you Nadine.

Hmmm – sorry, not a very good pic…..can’t believe both my pics were taken at the same time, yet the light is so different!

I decided to use the layout of this card for the Challenge. I used the Poinsettia Dies and DSP. Here is my card:

Just Add Ink # 531 – Inspiration Challenge

I’m playing along with Just Add Ink, where we have an Inspiration Challenge this week.

I used the trees from the Coming Home stamp set and the Flowers For Every Season DSP to create this Christmas card.

I actually had a wonderful weekend stamping. I made over 20 cards in total and loved every minute of it. Here are a couple of others I made while exploring this theme.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 526 – Inspiration Challenge.

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is an Inspiration Challenge. Look at that pic!! The Mushrooms are so vibrant – who would have thought you would find colours like that in Fungas!

This inspired me to make a Christmas Card. The Mushrooms reminded me of bold baubles hanging on a Christmas Tree.

My baubles aren’t quite as vibrant as those in the Inspiration pic and in my photo you can’t quite see the shimmery glitter spray I have on them.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 516 – Inspiration

This weeks Just Add Ink Challenge is an Inpiration Challenge. That means you can take elements from the picture above to inspire what ever you create.

I picked up on the colours and circles within the picture.

I decided to use the Forever Fern and Tasteful Touches Stamp set and created a bokeh effect window.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 506 – Inspiration

Well it’s time for the next Just Add Ink Challenge – which is an Inspiration Challenge.   For these Challenges, you can use the colours, shapes or a combination of the things you see to inspire your craft.

I used the colours in the pic to create a water colour background.   It’s quite abstract and bold.  I kept the rest of the card fairly simple and uncluttered.

Just Add Ink # 501 – Inspiration Challenge

This week the Just Add Ink Challenge is an Inspiration Challenge.    It’s bright and bold.

For my card, I picked out the colours and some of the shapes from the Inspiration picture.   I used some Watercolour paper and dies to create some colourful shapes.

First, I sprayed some watercolour paper (with water) and then stamped ink directly onto my largest acrylic block.  I spritzed the ink block with a little extra water and then stamped it onto the wet watercolour paper.   I really like how the inks all blend together to create unique designs.  I also like the effect of the colours against the white background.

Just Add Ink # 498 – Just Add “E” !

Hi, how’s you week been?

I’ve been fairly busy, working from Home while also playing Teacher for my daughter who has been Home from School.  It’s going well so far and we have both been getting though a lot of work.

We have already had a couple of quiet weeks at Home.  One good thing about hanging at Home is spending more time in my craft room.  I will share with you some of the cards that I have made shortly.  But for now, lets have a look at the new Just Add Ink Challenge.

For this Challenge, I decided to make an Easel card.    As further inspiration,  I looked at the photos I took of my visit to Keukenhof, almost a year ago.  I had a wonderful day, wandering the gardens and taking in all the glorious sights.  I literally took hundreds of photos and they are all so colourful.

So for this card, here is the photo that I picked out.

Of course, with a photo like that, I had to used the Timeless Tulip Stamp set.  As soon as I saw this Stamp Set,  I loved it.  I stamped lots of Tulips in different colours and sizes.

So is kinda 3 Easels cards in one.  Two small easels in the front and a larger one at the back.

Just Add Ink # 496 – Inspiration Challenge!

I’m sure you would agree with me that there is a lot going on in the world today –
not just our usual day to day stuff but all the CoVid19 news and developments.

I know there are a lot of people stressed out and worried about it.
You only have to see the News coverage of people fighting in the Super market over groceries and bulk buying toilet paper – it’s just crazy.

So it’s lovely that our next Just Add Ink Challenge has a calm and natural feel to it.

It’s and Inspiration Challenge……..

It’s fresh, beachy and a fairly simple picture.  Here is the card I made:

I flipped the picture and used some vellum to create a foamy wave type effect.  I used a stencil and sponged the Vellum with White ink.  The Stamp Sets I have used are called Seaside Sketches and High Tide.

Just Add Ink # 491..Inspiration Challenge

Wow, I feel like that week went really quickly – because here is the next Just Add Ink Challenge.  The Challenge is an Inspiration Challenge and it a very tropical picture.

Here is the card I made:

I used the Botanical Blooms Stamps and Dies for this card.  For some of the leave is used some leafy DSP and a die to cut them out.

I added a bit of glitter by using some glittery enamel dots and the beautiful new glossy Whisper White crinkled seam binding ribbon.
