Just Add Ink Challenge # 555 – Colour Challenge

Since returning from NZ I have had a quiet couple of weeks. It didn’t help that I have had a pretty bad cold…..but I think things just caught up with me after my busy busy couple of weeks. Anyway, at the same time, it has been nice to have some quiet time.

I had a lovely day crafting at the weekend when I made this card for the Just Add Ink Colour Challenge. These colours were suggested by Rachael and are lovely.

I used the Forever Fern Stamp Set, Magenta Madness Ribbon and Just Jade dots

I also made another card with these colours using the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set..

Just Add Ink Challenge # 545 – Colour Combo

The latest Just Add Ink Challenge is here and it’s a colour challenge…Just Add Shades of Green. There are so many lovely shades of Green and I couldn’t decide which shades to use.

So instead of starting with colour, I decided to look at stamps and layouts. I said to my daughter “What things are Green”? She replied “Frogs, frogs are green” So that’s where I started.

Here is my card.

I used quite a few greens – Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce and Mossy Meadow. This stamp set is called So Hoppy Together (now retired).

Just Add Ink Challenge # 534 – Color Combo

This is how I feel this week….and it’s because Meeting Season 2020 is done and dusted. So I’m in Happy Celebration mode…….tired but happy!!

Well, not many days left till Christmas now……and what better way to create Christmas cards, than with a Christmas inspired Colour Challenge.

These colours have been suggested by Nikki – they are fun, festive and traditional.

For my card this week I have used the Sweetest Time stamp set and the very pretty Real Red Sheer Ribbon.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 524 – Colour ChallHi enge

Hi ya, hope your week is going well? I’ve had a busy one and am looking forward to the long weekend that is coming. I’m sure I’ll be spending some time in the Craft room.

Today I am sharing the card I made for the new challenge at Just Add Ink. We have a Colour Challenge this week, that has been suggested by Jo.

I used the colours to make a soft pastel Christmas card. I used several different die sets – Tasteful Labels, Sweetest Boarders, Poinsettia Dies and Playful Alphabet. The White dots are All The Trimmings Embellishment’s.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 514 – Colour Combo

Just Add Ink Challenge # 514 is a Colour Challenge. The colours are cool and fresh.

Here is the card that I made.

I coloured some Watercolour paper so that the colours all blended together. Once the paper had dried, I cut out some leaves. I also used the watercolour paper in the back ground.

I used the Forever Greenery dies for the Leaves and the Poppy Moments dies for the background.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 504 – Colour Combo

It’s the time of Year when Stampin Up retires some Products to make way for new upcoming products.  One of the Stamp Sets retiring this year is called This Little Piggy.  It’s a cute little set, with fun sentiments and Piggy images.

I used “This Little Piggy” for my Just Add Ink card this week.  We have a colour challenge and the pink – Rococo Rose is perfect for This Little Piggy.

The layout I used is also for another challenge – so I will be sharing this card with the ladies in the 2020 Card Swap group too.

This little piggy looks a little be cheeky to me and makes me smile too.

Just Add Ink # 494 – Colour Challenge

The new Just Add Ink Challenge is out – it’s a Colour Challenge.  The colours are quite soft and subtle.  I made a square card.

I used the Timeless Tulip Stamp set.  I love how it stamps in a detailed way.

Just Add Ink # 489 – Colour Combo

Hi there,  well it’s the end of the working week for me and we are heading into a long weekend (due to Australia Day).  That means the possibility of time for crafting……sound good?  I think so!

To inspire you in your crafting this weekend – you can join the Just Add Ink Challenge.  It’s a fun and bright colour Challenge.

I made 2 cards for this Challenge……..

For the first card I chose the Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight and Call Me Clover colours.
To be honest, I didn’t really have any Call Me Clover Ink, so I have to substitute it with another colour.  The one I have used is actually Old Olive – although with the water colour technique I have used, it looks less Olive.

For the second card, I chose Bermuda Bay (love this colour), Lovely Lipstick and Daffodil Delight.

I used the same stamp set, ribbon and a frame on both cards.  The stamp set is called Beautiful Friendship.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 479 – Colour Combo!

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a Colour Challenge.  The colours are soft and cool – I thought they were kind of beachy.  But I used them for a floral card.

I put some silver faceted gems in the centre of the flowers.  I really love how the shine.  What do you think?

Just Add Ink Challenge # 469 – Colour Combo

It’s time for another Just Add Ink Challenge.   Challenge # 469 is a Colour Challenge….

The colours a rich and bold and kinda earthy.   They were suggested by Di Barnes.

I used the new Celebrate with Cake stamp set for this Challenge.   The Stamp set is a lovely selection of solid stamps that can be used for various occasions.

I used both the Grapefruit Grove and Terracotta Tile colours on the flowers.  I first inked the stamp up in the lighter Grapefruit Grove and then used a dauber to add a little Terracotta Tile to the tip of each flower, before I stamped it onto the card stock.

I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers, which is hard to see in the pic of the full card.  You can see the Wink of Stella glitter in the pic above though.  This was because I was tilting it in the sun.

I also made another card with the colours and stamp set.   You can see it has similar elements – and features the Cake image, from the Celebrate with Cake Stamp set.

In this case, the cake is two toned and again there is Wink of Stella highlighting some of the sections of the card.
