Just Add Ink # 391 – Choose Two – Twine-Trees-Tags

Hi ya, well, here we are, the week before Christmas!  That means the final Just Add Ink Challenge for 2017!
This Just Choose Two Challenge was suggested by Kim and runs for two weeks until 3rd January 2018.
There are 3 items to choose from, Twine – Trees – Tags.  I thought that these items worked well for a Christmas themed project.   See my Christmas Tag below.

The Choose Two items don’t have to be used for a Christmas project though.  Go to Just Add Ink to see other inspirational projects by the Design Team and to share your project with us.

Just Add Ink # 387 Colour Combo

Happy Friday to you.  Here’s a great Colour combo for this time of the year for you to try out.   Just Add Ink Challenge # 387.

I think these are very Christmasy colours and therefore I have made a Christmas card.  I used a stencil to make a background.   I actually got the idea off a restaurant wall…..except their colours scheme was more neutral than this.  I added the Glitter paper for some sparkle.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 368 A Twist…..Birthday Stamps for Christmas

 Image may contain: text

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week has been suggested by Kelly and challenges us to create a project that uses a “Birthday” set for ‘Christmas” projects.   Being halfway through the year, it’s a great time to start getting you Christmas cards underway……so have a look at your Birthday Stamps and challenge yourself to use them in a different way.

Here are the cards that I made:

I used the Number of Years stamp set for both of these cards.  It’s hard to see in my pic, but the one below has dots of glitter in each of the flowers.  So, once you have created you project with a twist share it with us at Just Add Ink.

Just Add Ink # 342 – Just Add…..N!

Hi ya,  can you believe we have come to the end of another Just Add Ink year?  Yep that’s right – this is the last challenge for 2016.

The Challenge is Just Add … N, suggested by Tina.  So that means you just think is something starting with N and then use that in your project.  I decided on Navy and Nativity.  Here is my card.

I embossed my image in Silver and then layered over the top of it with StazOn Black on Acetate.  So it kinda gave a stained glass window effect (hard to photograph though).

Check out some other Just Add Ink projects here and share your projects with us too.
This non-voting challenge will run for two weeks and close on 4th January.

The Just Add Ink team is taking a break for our summer holidays and we hope you will join us again in 2017 – starting with a Blog Hop on January 20.

Merry Christmas to you all – hope you enjoy some holidays with family and friends and a bit of crafting.

Just Add Ink #340…Just Add a Gift Tag

The new Just Add Ink Challenge is here…..Just Add…..Gift Tags, is Challenge # 340.
Although there are not many weeks left of 2016, this is such a fabulous time of year to get to your craft table or room and create.  And this weeks Challenge is perfect for creating …. because Just Add Gift Tags allows you to create small unique pieces of art with loads of Bling and Glitter and Ribbon and…..you name it!
I added my  Gift Tag to a card.  Here it is:
I used Gold Foil Card to make the Ornament – and all I can say about that is…..it’s really really hard to photograph!!  But the card was quick and easy to put together and would work just as well as a tag only.
So – go to Just Add Ink to get some further ideas – you will see by the gift tags the design team have created the ideas are endless.   They have made some beauties.  Have fun with this Challenge and remember to share your projects with us.
