Happy Friday everyone,
It’s time for Bron’s 3rd Birthday Blog Hop. Bron’s favourite colour is Blue. So the theme for this months Blog Hop is INKY BLUES.
Blue just happens to be my favourite colour too. I really like all shades of blue – dark, light, bright….doesn’t matter, I like em! So this was the perfect theme for me.
The card I made started with a base of Pacific Point. I stamped the flowers from Bottled Happiness with Pacific Point and Night of Navy Ink.
Last weekend, it was my Birthday and I received some lovely hand made cards.
My sister, Nadine gave me a great fancy fold card – that I just had to CASE. So I continued the Blue Happiness and put together another card.
Here is the card I got from Nadine – Haha, just realised it’s Blue too! Pretty!!
So here’s my take on this Fancy Fold. I adjusted the fold and dimensions slightly.
There is very little stamping on this card (only the Sentiment). I have used the Hues of Happiness DSP and lots of fussy cutting.
I can’t wait to make my way through the Inky Blues Blog Hop to see what the rest of the group have made. The next stop on Bron’s Birthday Blog Hop is Jan Clothier. Let’s go and see what Jan has created…….
Here are more of the handmade cards I received.
Gorgeous cards Chantell!
Such a beautiful line up of cards, all with an inky blue theme and a big Happy Birthday to you for last week!
Beautiful, beautiful cards Chantell. All so beautiful. I love the card your sister gave you and your change to the folds. A belated Happy Birthday.
Gorgeous cards, Chantell! I especially love the elegance of the Night of Navy/Pacific Point/silver combination of your first card.
All of them lovely! The first card is classically elegant while the last is still elegant but also contemporary. Great range of styles. 🙂
WOW – both of your cards are just wonderful. I love the blue flowers so much. And the touch of silver is fabulous. ANd your fussy cutting as precision!!
Both are so pretty Chantell. Hope you had a fab birthday. x
