Social Stamping – New (normal)

Image may contain: text

Well times are changing aren’t they?  June has just started and what a Year it has been so far!   I’m sure many of us are wondering, what else is to come?

For the Social Stamping Blog Host this week, Kelly has set us a theme “New Normal.

As I reflected on this Theme during the week, I realised I don’t know what the New Normal is.   And I don’t know what is to come.

Then one evening I saw a 50 year old clip on TV from the Munster’s.
It was about Life’s Lessons.

Herman Munster said,

“The Lesson I want you to learn, is it doesn’t matter what you look like.    You can be tall or short, or fat or thin or ugly or handsome (like your father), or you could be black or yellow or white.  It doesn’t matter.  What does matter, is the size of your heart and the strength of your character”.

And it really made me think……yes, that needs to be our normal!

I don’t have any Heart dies….can you tell?  I had to hand cut all these Hearts.  But I think they came out ok.  I had to search through several stamp sets and individual stamps to make up my sentiment.

    1. Beautiful card Chantell with such a wonderful message. Applicable not only to the crazy COVID situation we find ourselves in but also a great mantra to live by always. Choose kindness! Kelly x

  1. Life lessons from The Munsters, transformed into a card. This is so AWESOME! A great sentiment and an important message for right now. I love your slightly wonky hearts, they are perfect for this card. 🙂 Siobhan.
