Just Add Ink # 622 – Choose Two

It’s a long Weekend here in Perth, starting with the National Day of Mourning (for the Queen) on Thursday and ending with Monday off work because of the WA Queens Birthday Holiday. So with 5 days off the Theme of my card this week is very fitting.

I made this card for the Just Add Ink Choose Two Challenge. The elements to choose from are Friends, Foliage and Masking.

I choose Masking and Foliage. I used an array of colours to make a masked Scene. I also masked off the work “Relax” so that is stands out nicely.

This was fun to make and needed very little embellishment.

Now it’s your turn to Choose Two…….Friends, Foliage or Masking!
Give it a go and share it with us at Just Add Ink.

Just Add Ink # 620 – Inspiration

Just Add Ink have an Inspiration Challenge this week. This is a really lovely pic. I really like the blue glass container and the bold golden flowers.

I used the colours in the pic along with a cool new Stencil (that my sister brought me) to create this card.

BTW – Such a fun Stencil….you might be seeing a bit of it!

Head on over to Just Add Ink to see the rest of the Design Team cards. You can also join this Challenge there too.

Bron’s 60th Birthday Blog Hop # 6

Beaches, Palm Trees, Fresh Juice and Cocktails, Sun, Sand and Relaxation……….sounds like a dream aye?

Today we celebrate our friend Bronwyn Eastley’s 60th Birthday. Happy Birthday Bron!

If you have been following my blog, you will know that I have been participating in Bron’s 60th Birthday Hops for the past 6 months. Bron’s original 60th Birthday celebrations did not go to plan so she came up with the fabulous idea of running a series of blog hops to celebrate. This is the last in the series.

Our final theme is Tropical Holiday!

Here is my Tropical Holiday card.

I’m sure Bron is doing something like this right now……Cocktails in the sun – enjoying beautiful scenery and family times.

Next up in the Blog Hop is the lovely Jan Clothier – follow this link to Jan’s Blog or click the next button below.
