Just Add Ink # 618 – Colour Challenge

Just Add Ink have a colour challenge this week. The colours are Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Pacific point.

I used a number of stamp sets to create this card. Plentiful Plants, Bottled Happiness and the Splendid Thoughts Stamps and Dies.

When stamping the bottles and pot, I varied the Pacific point colour saturation by stamping directly for one bottle and then the others I stamped off first to remove some of the ink from the stamp.

The rest of the design team have combined these colours to create some fabulous projects, you can follow this link to check them out.

Just Add Ink # 616 – Sketch Challenge

Just Add Ink have a Sketch Challenge this week. Having a sketch is a great way to start a card. The sketch is your guide but you can flip it, turn it or even reverse it to make it suit your needs.

I made a couple of cards with this Sketch in mind.

For my first card, I masked off a circle and the used the Blending Brushes to make a Sunburst. The stamps and dies are from the Sending Smiles Bundle.

For my second card I used the Tulip Fields stamp set and dies. (retired)

Bron’s 60th Birthday Blog Hop # 5

With a group of stamping friends, I am joining Bron Eastley’s next 60th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop.

Bron is celebrating her 60th Birthday with six blog hops over six months and today is Hop # 5 – Fancy Folds. Bron loves Fancy Folds and so do I!

For this Blog Hop, I decided to make Diamond Fold Cards. These are fun and easy to make (as long as you get your measurements right)! I even showed my sister how to make them during one of our Face Time Craft-a-noons!

I enjoyed making them so much – I ended up with a few versions.

Next in the Blog Hop is Leonie Stuart – Click the button below to visit Leonie’s Blog and see what Fancy Fold she has made.

I’ve had a great week of Cultural experiences. I started the week by going to the Van Gogh Live exhibition. It was fabulous. I enjoyed the music, the enlarged artwork and holistic experience. Very peaceful and calming I thought.

At the end of the week, I rocked it out to some great energetic, loud (in-ya-face) music at the Yungblud concert. Yungblud is a young Pop Punk style artist from the Doncaster in the UK. Such a fun concert and I had a great time.
