Just Add Ink # 586 Summer Blog Hop

Happy New Year! It’s time for the Just Add Ink New Year Blog Hop.
This Year the theme is “Summer”.

Summer means Holidays….Right?
I’ve had a few weeks off work to relax at Home. The weather has been hot here so we have spent a lot of time relaxing and swimming. With Christmas and the New Year, I also spent some time reflecting on 2021.

In my first Blog Post of 2021, I commented how strange the previous year (2020) was. I’m sure you will agree, that 2021 was just as strange – with COVID aside, for my family, it was a Year of many changes – Births, Deaths and Marriages.

Ana and Jeremy got married, Neil’s Dad passed away, we welcome a new nephew and Ana is expecting a baby soon too.

Probably the biggest change for me, was that I changed jobs. I left Computershare after almost 12 years and now work at Alstom Transport. I am the Training Administrator for part of the Perth Metronet project. We are building Rail Cars (Trains) for Perth. It’s new and exciting – a whole new industry for me with new things to learn.

I didn’t do much crafting over the holidays – so this challenge was one of my first cards for 2022. I used the “Nothings Better Than” stamp set to make these colourful Cocktails!
