Just Add Ink Challenge # 547 – Inspiration!

Just Add Ink have an Inspiration Challenge this week. The colours in the picture are both bright and soft at the same time..

I made a colourful Sunflower card using the Celebrate Sunflower Dies and a variety of colours.

Sponging the colours onto the sunflowers even made a lovely colourful design on my grid paper!

So join us at Just Add Ink for this Inspiration Challenge. Here is the Link to the Challenge.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 546 – Steampunk!

The new Just Add Ink Challenge is up an running….it’s Just Add Steampunk and I suggested it, so I thought I better play along!

Here’s a little Google/wikipedia blurb to explain steampunk…..

Steampunk is Steam punk is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Think Metallic, external plumbing, laced up corsets, top hats, monocles, cogs, wrought iron, candelabra’s, clocks.

Here is my card:

For my card, I also took inspiration from a card I saw that my friend Kim made.

Here are some other Steam Punk type projects that I have made.:

It would be great if you join this challenge. Go to Just Add Ink to participate and to see what everyone else is making.

Just Add Ink Challenge # 545 – Colour Combo

The latest Just Add Ink Challenge is here and it’s a colour challenge…Just Add Shades of Green. There are so many lovely shades of Green and I couldn’t decide which shades to use.

So instead of starting with colour, I decided to look at stamps and layouts. I said to my daughter “What things are Green”? She replied “Frogs, frogs are green” So that’s where I started.

Here is my card.

I used quite a few greens – Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce and Mossy Meadow. This stamp set is called So Hoppy Together (now retired).

Here’s the link to the Just Add Ink Blog – so you can join in this Challenge too.
