JAI # 249 – Sketch Challenge!

The Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a Sketch Challenge, provided by Tina.

JAISketch006[1]

I decided to do something a bit different with the sketch – because I was looking at what shapes I could use instead of Hexagons.  Here is my card:

DSC00123

My little owls ended up a bit bigger than I had imagined and so they ended up taking up the whole card.

The other thing that is special about this card – is it’s my first ‘Card by Candlelight’!!   Hahaha!!

This week we have had quite a few Thunder/lightning storms and the power has been going off.   So I spent a couple of nights crafting in the dark.   I thought it came out OK considering.

So go to Just Add Ink to share your creation that is inspired by this sketch with us.  And while you are there check out the rest of the creations made by the Design Team.

What a fun take on the sketch Chantell – I love your owls and am totally amazed that you managed to do all the fiddly details like the eyes by candlelight! Very cute card 🙂 xxx

Brilliant take on the sketch and well done thinking outside the square (well, hexagon….). Loving those owls, they are so adorable and such beautiful colours too!
