Just Add Ink # 229 – Inspiration Challenge

I just love the look of this Challenge – and I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates.  It’s an inspiration Challenge – and that means you look at the pic and then use it for inspiration for your project.  Here is this pic:

Great colours aye?  Rainbow are so magical and always a favorite.  Here is my project:

I made these flowers ages ago – way back in March actually.  And I think they fit this Inspiration Challenge perfectly.   I used them as decorations on the table at Sarah’s Birthday party.

When I asked her what type of part she wanted she said “A Rainbow party:……”no no no a dress up party:…….”no no no, a sparkle party”

So it was settled…….we had a Rainbow, sparkle, dress up party!!

Here’s some pics from the day.

Cool – lovely birthday memories.

We would love you to have a go at this Inspiration Challenge too.  Have a go at Just Add Ink, and check out all the Design Team projects for further inspiration.

Colour Combo, Just Add Ink

Just Add Ink # 228 – Colour Combo

We have a very bold colour combo challenge at Just Add Ink this week.  The colour combo was put together by Kim.  Here are the colours…

This colour combo features 2 of the new In-colours – Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow.  Both are stunning colours.  I love the richness of the Blackberry Bliss and the shiny Mossy Meadow ribbon.

Here is my card…

For me – these were very bold colours to work with and it took me a few goes to complete a card I like.   For the layout – I have to give credit to Joanne from Crafty Owl .  Follow the link to check out Joanne’s work.

I am loving my new stamp set Kinda Eclectic too……it’s been getting a work out!

Just Add Ink # 227 – Just Add Chipboard

It was me that suggested this Challenge for Just Add Ink.  Just Add Chipboard.

I thought it would be good to have a go at working with something a bit different.  I think that Chipboard can add a great dimension to your projects.   So here is my Card:

The chipboard elements on my card are the swirly thing and the two butterflies (one on top of the other).

Just Add Ink # 226 Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone – It’s time for another weekly challenge from Just Add Ink.  This week we have a sketch challenge and it’s a great starting point for any projects you might work on this week.  Here is the sketch.

Here is the card I did:

I decided to make a male card.  I think it has an industrial feel to it.
