This week the Just Add Ink Challenge has been suggested by Paula – Just Add Watercolour. There are lots of ways to create water colour effects. For this Challenge I decided to try something different, compared to other water colouring techniques I have used before. Here is the card I did…..
I spritzed my water colour paper with water first and then stamped directly onto the wet paper. As the paper dried the colours blended quite a bit. So I stamped again over the top after it had dried a bit.
To get the clear sentiment I waited until the paper had dried completely – and then stamped the sentiment.
Watercolouring is very effective and fun to do – you should have a go. Check out what the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team have done. And join our Watercolour Challenge.
What a lovely soft effect you got Chantell from stamping on the wet watercolour paper. I’ll be tucking this idea away to try! xxx
Love the soft dreamy effect you’ve created Chantell and your liner border looks fabulous. xxx
