This week at Just Add Ink we have a Sketch Challenge. This Sketch was put together for us by Mae Collins. It;s a great combination of shapes.
I worked on this one at the same time as I did last weeks Challenge……so I had the Mouthwatering Stamp Set and Scented Embossing powders handy. Here is my card……
I had not used these colours in a while and think they are so pretty. Regal Rose, Rose Red Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede.

At Just Add Ink, we have a very talented Design Team to share and inspire you in your card making, scrap booking and off the page creations. And every now and again we like to borrow inspiration from each other.
This week the Just Add Ink challenge is to do just that. The Challenge is to Just Add Jodene Tripp. Jodene makes cards with beautiful colours and shapes. I love the lay outs she uses. Jodene does lots of stitching on her cards that really adds a great element and texture to each project. I used these things to inspire me when putting my card together…….
I used my new Stamp Set – Mouthwatering. And to make it really Mouthwatering I used the Scented Stampin’ Emboss Powders too. They come in Vanilla, Melon and Cherry – smell delicious so just go perfectly with this stamp set.
Here is Jodene’s card that I borrowed the layout from:
So join in the fun with us and create something inspired by Jodene. Follow the link to Just Add Ink to see what the rest of the Design Team have come up with and to show us what you have put together.
For this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge, Delys has provided us with an Inspirational Photo. This means that you can look at the picture and see how it Inspires you to create something – whether that be a Card, Scrap booking Page or 3D project. Here is the Photo:
Instantly I decided on colours because the colour of the Chairs to me looks just like Calypso Coral.
And then I looked at the Layout – and so decided on a stripy bit at the bottom and curtains that looked like panels to me.
I added the Flowers as bold statements – like the chairs. I made these using the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die. And then when I had finished I decided it needed a bit of bling……so I spritz it with a bit of Shimmer Paint.
This was a great Photo to draw inspiration from. So have ago your self and then share it will us at Just Add Ink. While you are there you can also check out all the other fantastic DT Creations.
Happy Easter everyone. I’ve really been enjoying having some extra time at home this weekend. I have spent quite a bit of time in my craft room – creating. Yay!!
I thought I would show you a cute little Bunny Box I made – which I cased from Kim Badelt. Kim made this a few weeks ago for our Just Add Ink – Easter Challenge – and I loved it so much – I just had to have a go.
Cute huh? Thank you Kim for this fab box idea.
The Easter Bunny came to our house this morning………………
Last year one of the Ladies at my work, Wendy – who is also my friend – Celebrated a special birthday. Now at the time – she thought she had got away without anyone knowing……….but we found out!
So – when Wendy least expected it – we gave her a surprise Birthday Celebration.
Knowing that she is a fabulous Scrapbooker and Card Maker – and that I did some too – work asked me to put together a special card for her.
I had a few ideas and realised that I either needed a really really big card – or something else that everyone at work could sign. So I decided to decorate a little book. One of Wendy’s other great loves is the Eagles AFL team – their colours are Blue and Yellow – so that set the theme for the little book.
I really enjoyed putting this book together – it was made with lots of love for a fellow Paper crafter. And it was perfect for everyone at work to write a special Birthday Message in for Wendy.
