Happy Mothers Day to all those Mum’s out there…..here’s a Card and Challenge for you.
Make a Card / Project that has a Flower on it……cause let’s face it – All us Mum’s love Flowers. Here’s my card…..
I combined this Challenge with another one this week. It’s a colour Challenge that I had set for the Stamping Team I belong too.
The JAI Girls have put together some beautiful projects with Flowers on for Mothers Day – go and check them out here. And don’t forget to have a go at the Challenge yourself.

Today is my Dad’s Birthday. Happy Birthday Dad – I hope you have a great day (and aren’t too hung over after your party last night)!
Sadly – I could not make it to NZ to celebrate with Dad – so I decided to put together a card full of Candles for him. He’s 70 – so there are 70 Candles.
I have used DSP for the Candle sticks – and all 70 of them are different! For the Flame – I used the Petal from Vintage Vogue and Rock’n’Rolled it.
S0 – Cheers to Dad!!

It’s Colour Combo time at Just Add Ink. But this one’s a little different!
Normally – we at Just Add Ink tell you what colours to use……but this time you get to choose the colours.
And it will help if you have a particular chocolate bar that you love because the challenge is……..
To make a paper craft project inspired by your favourite chocolate bar wrapper.
So what’s it to be? Mint, White, Dairy, Nutty, Caramel…….the list goes on.
For me – well I don’t really have a favourite chocolate…..I do prefer White Chocolate – so I chose the Cadbury Dream.
I used the Brayer to do the background in 2 x colours – Marina Mist and Tempting Turquoise. Then I punched the Birds out in Chocolate Chip and Concord Crush. I added a bit of Very Vanilla to represent the Dream!
What a fun Challenge……The Design Team thought so and have come up with some yummy creations for this week. You may have to hop on over to their blogs to see what wrappers they were inspired by. Visit Just Add Ink here.
