Challenges, Just Add Ink

Just Add Bling Bling for Breast Cancer

This week at Just Add Ink we are Adding Bling  Bling!  And we have also decided to combine this Challenge with a Breast Cancer awareness Challenge – so not only is it Bling Bling – but it is also a Pink theme.

I’ve decided to call mine Think Pink Bling Bling.

I’ve used all the Pinks for this one.  So Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose & Blushing Bride.

The leaves are the Bird Punch and that stamps are from Great Friend & Trendy Trees.   The ribbon is 3/8′ White Taffeta Ribbon.  The Glitter is from the Stampin Up Fine Supermova Glitters.

I also did another card because I had just received some Shimmer Paint and wanted to have a go.

You can see the Shimmer Paint better on the close up pic.  I have used Pretty in Pink and Whisper White for this card.  The swirls are from Baroque Motifs and the Butterfly is the Great Friend Stamp Set.

So get your Bling Bling out and have a go at this Challenge.  And check out the Design Team’s creations here.

  1. Wow! Both gorgeous samples … and so many delicious details in both! Love that sparkle background (no. 1)! I was wondering how you do such a FAB job of gathering your ribbon??? Is it stitched??? Hugs xxaxx

    1. Hi Andrea, Thanks for your comments. No I have just gathered it by pulling one of the middle threads in the ribbon itself. Fray the end a little first…then play around with it till you can pull out one thread from the middle. Then just gather it along. It’s a great effect.

      1. Oooh! Lisa R showed us how to do that at a play day at Leonie S’s when Tanya K was here from WA! I had forgotten all about it! Thanks for the reminder. I am sooooooo going to do that again! Gorgeous! Hugs xxaxx

  2. Gorgeous Cards Chantelle, Love the shimmer paint too oooh pretty. Better get me some of that stuff I think. 🙂
