I made this cute card this morning…..I did not have much time to put it together – so it’s quite simple. But I’d just thought about it overnight so threw it together quickly.
It’s for a family member that is having a Baby soon. She is having a Baby Shower soon….Shhhhh!! She doesn’t know.
I’ve used Certainly Celery – cause we don’t know if it is a Blue or a Pink yet. And the Small Oval punch to make the Shower head. The Stamp Set is All in the Family….which is such a cool set and I just don’t ink it enough.
Wow can you believe there have been 40 JAI Challenges already! That’s amazing!
This week we are doing Just Add….A Colour Combo. Here it is…..
This was a card that kinda just came together. In these colours, I did not have anything much in the way of ribbons or embellishments so just made up the little flowers with my Boho Blossoms Punch. The idea for the two toned, repeated sentiment came from a card in a Catalogue from a few years ago. It’s hard to see, but I really like how the Spritzing of the Pear Pizzazz came out.

This month is Anxiety & Depression Awareness Month. To promote awareness of this Just Add Ink has decided to do a Just Add Blue Challenge this week.
This is a topic that is very “Close to Home” for me personally. So I was keen to participate in this Challenge and urge you all to as well. Another part of our Challenge is to ask everyone to do a RAK with their card – send it to someone special, not necessarily someone who is depressed or suffers from Anxiety, but someone they care about, just saying they care. So come on everyone….have a go.
I used the Medallion again this week…..it’s such a great stamp. It’s very hard to see in the picture – but I used the Shimmer Paint on this Card…so it’s actually quite glossy and shimmery. The colours are Not Quite Navy, Navy, Crumb Cake & Marina Mist – which is my new fav colour.
Here is the link to Just Add Ink so you can go and check out all the amazing Design Team Entries. And….We will have an Anxiety & Depression badge in the JAI sidebar for you to put up on your blogs.
When I made this – I had a Wedding Theme in mind…. although it’s probably a bit bold for a Wedding Card.
I’ve used Whisper White and Elegant Eggplant.
I embossed the Medallion Stamp onto Whisper White card with a mix of Clear embossing powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and then used my Brayer to go over the top with the Elegant Eggplant.
Then I layered it up on the card and add the White Organza Ribbon and Pearls. Here is a close up.
This week at Just Add Ink we are Adding Bling Bling! And we have also decided to combine this Challenge with a Breast Cancer awareness Challenge – so not only is it Bling Bling – but it is also a Pink theme.
I’ve used all the Pinks for this one. So Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose & Blushing Bride.
The leaves are the Bird Punch and that stamps are from Great Friend & Trendy Trees. The ribbon is 3/8′ White Taffeta Ribbon. The Glitter is from the Stampin Up Fine Supermova Glitters.
I also did another card because I had just received some Shimmer Paint and wanted to have a go.
You can see the Shimmer Paint better on the close up pic. I have used Pretty in Pink and Whisper White for this card. The swirls are from Baroque Motifs and the Butterfly is the Great Friend Stamp Set.
So get your Bling Bling out and have a go at this Challenge. And check out the Design Team’s creations here.
I know there are heaps of you out there that Love Love Love Shoes and Hand bags! I’m a Hand bag girl…..although I try to keep it under control.
You may have seen on my blog a while ago the little shoe I was given by a Secret Sister….well I loved it. I did my own version of it. And then thought it should have a Hand bag to go with it – so I did that too.
Now I decided that we should do it as a Class – so tonight’s class is all about Shoes and Handbags. Here they are……..
Cute aye?? I have used Basic Black and Pretty in Pink. The flowers are made with the Fancy Flower Punch.
Here is a set I did for my Secret Sister and friend Susan Joyce a few months ago.
It’s Colour Combo time at Just Add Ink. Danielle described it as a Scary looking Colour combo….and I tend to agree. But you should see the amazing things the Just Add Ink girls have done…..Wow wee.
These are the colours…
I did not know what I was going to do with these….looked at them for quite some time before I decided I just had to start. So this is the card I came up with.
I’ve used the Every Moment Stamp set – which I am loving. And the Very Vintage Wheel.
So go and check out what the Just Add Ink girls have done – and have a go yourself.
PS: Did you know it’s October – already!
