Water Colour Week
A few weeks ago I had planned to do a Water colouring Class – but it did not end up happening. This week I’ve been feeling a bit better so we did Water Colouring. We did two different Water Colour techniques using the Water Colour Paper.
The first technique involved spritzing the Paper and stamping directly onto it. We used the Stampin Up Markers – so that we could get different colours in our image.
This is the Card we did.
What I find when doing this technique is the image can change each time depending on how wet you have made the paper. Below is another example that I did – which shows you what I mean. I usually find that once the image is dry and made up into a card or project it looks great.
The other Technique we did also involves spritzing the paper too – but before you do you Stamp and emboss your image. The spritzing then create puddles within the lines of the embossed image which you then drop ink into using your Aqua-painter. It is a very effective technique.
With both of these Water Colour Techniques it is a good idea to let them dry naturally.
Here is the Card we did.
This Card is also my Just Add Ink DT entry this week. This Weeks Challenge is a Sketch.
So get your Card, Stamps & Inks out and have a go. Here’s the link to Just Add Ink so you can enter the Challenge too. And don’t forget to check out all the lovely entries too. Have fun.
