Way back in September 09 – the Challenge for the month that I did with my sister Nadine…was to create cards using the Seeing Spots Stamp Set (because we both have it – but had not used it in a while). September came and went – and I did not complete the challenge. Then October flew by – I still didn’t do it. And then November, December ran away too….so Nadine was still waiting to receive my Seeing Spots Cards.
I asked her what our January Challenge was…..and she said Well – it’s a One-sided challenge??? Because YOU HAVE TO FINISH YOUR SEEING SPOTS CARDS!!!
So I did!! These are the cards I sent her.
Well then – I was kinda on a Spots roll…..so decided to use them for my February Stamp a Stack which the ladies did last night.
For these we also used the Circle Circus Stamp Set.

The theme for last weeks class was Peek-a-boo. We did two different projects that fitted into that theme. A Card and a Box.
This is the outside of the card – it’s Tempting Turquoise and Real Red. I don’t really use the Bold colours that often so although I like the colours they were a bit outside my comfort zone really.
Inside….is where you get the Peek-a-boo idea….cause as you open the card up it shows you another image.
So you get a surprise little HELLO……
Our second project was a little Peek-a-boo box.
When you open it up there is a little Peek-a-boo window inside.

Lately I have put together a few Gifts and things for people that I’d like to show you.
Firstly – my friend’s boy was turning 8 and is really really into drawing – I’d got him some pencils and drawing paper. But when if came to wrapping it up – the pencils were going everywhere and it was a bit messy. So I decided to make him a box for his pencils to go in.
I used the Washington Apple DSP and Small Star Punch. I put a hole in the bottom of the box with the Word Window punch so that he could see which pencil he was getting out.
Next was a friend’s birthday. She is into Roses – so I wanted to do some thing Rosey. We both love the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set – and I love the Urban Oasis DSP. Put it all together and what do you get???? THIS……
A simple 2-5-7-10 box and matching Card. It was my first real go at Water-colouring too and I was quite happy with the result.
Lastly was a Thank you gift. Again – I felt like Matching things……so I matched the box & card to the actual gift which was a little Raspberry Tart Stampin Up Calculator.
