Last night the ladies came over and we made some Christmas Baubles. We did 2 different types.
First up we decorated some glass ones.
I decorated this one with the Scribble This Stamp Set, some Chunky glitter and Real Red ribbon.
We boxed up our Christmas Baubles in some little boxes….so they will make a lovely little gift.
We then made some Christmas Baubles out of Designer Series Paper – Holiday Treasure & Kiwi Kiss.

Yay Yay – I’ve got a little bit of time up my sleeve……so I thought I would pop in here and show you a couple of projects we did in a Masking class recently.
Each week I run stamping Classes to share techniques and projects with everyone. You can visit the Classes Tab on my Blog to find out what classes are coming up…….or you can also visit my Stampin Up Web Site as they are listed there too. www.chantellrandall.stampinup.net
There are a couple of different ways you can use masking on a project. Masking is where you cover up part of the card or image and then stamp or colour over it.
The first card we did used a template (mask) that we placed over the top of our card and then we sponged ink through the gaps in the mask. Here we used the Sheet left from the Blooms Die Cut Flowers as a mask. I got the idea from my friend Sarah….Thank you Sarah.
I love the Taken With Teal colour but don’t used it often – so challenged myself to use it. And I was really pleased with the colour combination result.
Our next card was a different type of masking….where we stamped some of the image then masked it….then stamped over the top again. When the mask is removed you have a layed effect. It gives the project dimension.
A great Man card. Although – at the time we did this class it was close to Fathers Day – so some of the ladies put “Happy Fathers Day” on their card.

Today Sarah and I had a busy day with two Birthday parties in one day. It was loads of fun with great friends, sunshine and good (not necessarily healthy) food.
In the afternoon we went to Denise’s 30th Birthday Party. We had brought her a lovely Necklace and so I decided to make a box for it that matched the Card and envelope I had done too.
I was really pleased with how they looked once completed – so thought I would share them here.

Nadine and I decided to do a Card Swap (in August) using Spring Mini Products. Nadine is my sister and lives in NZ. She is also a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. You can check out her Blog here.
We do Card Swaps most months and have a different theme each time. It’s so much fun to see what each other comes up with. And it’s great to get a bunch of lovely cards in the mail.
Nadine’s cards are both made with the same Stamp Set – Soft Summer – which is great for Two-step stamping. It so great to see how Nadine has got two totally different ideas (cards) from one set.
Great colours – huh?? Nadine has used the one stamp and rotated it round to make this pretty design.
I love this card….the grid is amazing….such a great effect. Nadine has got it just perfect.
Here the Just Beachy set again…..I’ve used the Lazy Days jumbo wheel for the backgound and ripped some Kraft Card stock for the sand.
Here I’ve used the Great friend Stamp set and the Scallop oval punch. This was one of those cards where I chose the stamp set….then a colour but did not know what I was creating till it was finished. But I loved it so much – I made a few more to send to special friends.

Last Saturday we held our Quarterly Team Day…..which was loads of fun. There was lots of chatting, laughing, chocolate eating…..Oh and Papercrafting too. It was also a great opportunity to catch up with the girls some of whom I have not seen in quite a while.
Each Team Day we take turns at providing projects for the rest of the Team. We do a Scrapbook Page, a 3D Item and a Technique Card.
Our 3D item was provided by Nicole. This is such a cool little box….the top of the box sort of squashes down to become the lid.
Our Scrapbook Page was provided by Amanda. It’s so lovely. When I got home I had a look through to see what photo’s I had to go with it. And this is what I chose. It’s a photo the Mum had sent me during the week and the colours were just perfect for this page.
We also did Swaps….with a Christmas theme This is by Rachel, she has used the Spritzer Tool on here which looks great.
By Michelle…..Ohhhh I’m loving this Stamp Set!!
By Janice. Loads and Loads of work in this card. Just Beautiful.
By Narelle – love the colours.
And for my Swap I decided I did not want to do a card so I did a little box with a Chocolate in it.
