Yesterday afternoon I did a workshop for my friend Michelle. Michelle loves Roses and pinks which fitted in nicely with the Make & Take that we did.
We put together this lovely little Scrapbook page using Fifth Avenue Floral, Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray, Whisper White and Regal Rose.
What a busy stamping week I’ve had. It’s been lots of fun. This week I did Shaker Card Classes which were challenging but well worth the effort that everyone put in.
First up we did this card using Trendy Trees. I’ve been itching to use some Taken with Teal for a while now and found it looks great with the new In-colours – Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango.
On the second card we used the Blooms Again flowers. These are great. They are die cut flowers in all different sizes – we have used the larger ones here. Blooms Again comes in Kiwi Kiss, Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze & Close to Cocoa. You can also get Blooms in Real Red, Old Olive, Bashful Blue & Pumpkin Pie – see my post Card Class Update from 1 October 2008
The colours in Blooms Again teamed well with Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. We used the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set.
Last night the girls and I put together some 6 x 6 Journals. They came out so neat. Here is some of them.
These were done by Lyn, Michelle, Myself & Janet.
(Sorry the light in this pic is not that great because it was night-time).
We used the Bella Rose Designer Series Papers, Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red Inks Ribbons & Card and the Best Yet Stamp Set.
I certainly enjoyed putting these together and I’m sure the girls did too.
My inspiration for these came from Louise Sutton. Thank you Louise.
Duncraig Craft Group
I had quite a pleasant morning a few weeks ago, visiting a Duncraig Craft Group.
I demo’d a few small items and then got the ladies stamping. Here’s a pic of them hard at work.
These are the projects they worked on.
Carousel Notes Bags
A few week-ends ago I did a great workshop for a group of ladies that I met through the Cannington Craft Fair in March.
We made some Carousel Notes Bags like this. They were modelled on the ones made by Cambria Turnbow. Don’t they look fantastic.
We used the Scribble This stamp set and Holiday Treasures DSP.
On Saturday, we held our Team Stamping Day. We all met in Bayswater for a great deal of Stamping, Chatting and Chocolate.
It was great to see the girls and catch up. The Team has also got alot bigger so I met some of the New Team Members too.
The Projects we made were beautiful and fun. Narelle kicked the day off with a great demonstration using punches. She had made some beautiful cards that demonstrated the techniques she showed us.
Sarah organised this Scrapbooking page for us.
It’s just stunning…..I just love that stamp set. Fifth Avenue Floral.
Jaz did a Chalk board project for us. All the cards looked fantastic. The variety in the Colours was huge. I’m definitely going to do a few more of these. I did not put any glitter on mine but that looked great too.
I put this little box project together for everyone.
We enjoyed a bit of swapping. This is the swap I made.
This is using some punches and Trendy Trees Stamp Set. Cute aye?
And these are the swaps I received.
And…sorry I’m unsure who made this…so if your reading this and know – please let me know. Thank you.
I also got given several more Beautiful Birthday Cards…..here they are.
From Jaz…..love these colours together Jaz.
From Sue. Sue also baked me a lovely Chocolate Cake. There was Candles and singing and everything. Quite a lovely surprise. Thank you Sue.
What a great day.
