Colourful Medallion Cards

Way back in May – I spent a huge 5 days crafting…..it was so much fun – I used an entire roll of double sided tape but had a ball.  Today I thought I would share a set of four cards that I did then.

The idea around these were to use the same colors, stamp sets and technique.  And I kinda was going for a “Man” card theme too.

So the colours are: More Mustard, Real Red, Night of Navy & Garden Green.

I’ve used the Medallion & Short & Sweet & Weathered Stamp sets.

Ohhhhh – Happy New Catalogue everyone!!  Yay it starts today!!

Just Add Ink # 29 Colour Challenge

It’s Colour Challenge time at Just Add Ink this week – and what great colours they are.

Officially it’s my week off Challenges this week – but I love doing the Challenges so much – I just had to have a go.

I have put together 4 Cards here they are.

So you know what colours I have used.  The Stamp Sets are Wild About You, Sincere Salutations & Weathered.

Here’s the link to Just Add Ink so you can have a look at all the Challenge entries – and perhaps have a go yourself too.

Card Folder – Un-Convention

A few weeks ago you may have seen a Stamp a Stack I did here on my Blog.  At the time I thought to myself I’ll make a little folder for these to go in – cause I think that would make a nice little gift.  Then I put the Cards & Envelopes in the cupboard and that was that.

Then during Un-Convention – one of the Challenges was to make a Card folder…..perfect – just the project I needed.

So here is the Card folder I did.

Here it is with the cards too – and before I added the Ribbon onto it.

Pick a Pink Petal

Last night at my place we did a Stamp a Stack using Pick a Petal and the two new In-colours – Rich Razzleberry & Melon Mambo.

I’ve been wanting to put together a Pick a Petal Stamp a Stack for some time so enjoyed making these cards.  Love the colours too.

Easter is on it’s way!

The past stamping week for me, has all been about Easter…..and yes – there have even been a few Chocolate Egg’s floating around too.  Lucky for me though – I don’t really like Chocolate that much – so they are still floating around here somewhere.

Anyway – we did our Monthly Stamp-a-stack on Wednesday night.  The ladies had requested we do an Easter SAS.  Here it is.

We used the Scallop Edge punch to make the little Zig Zag’s that are on each card.  I decided on these colours because they matched the Tea Party DSP.

Circles & Spots

Way back in September 09 – the Challenge for the month that I did with my sister Nadine…was to create cards using the Seeing Spots Stamp Set (because we both have it – but had not used it in a while).  September came and went – and I did not complete the challenge.  Then October flew by – I still didn’t do it.  And then November, December ran away too….so Nadine was still waiting to receive my Seeing Spots Cards.

I asked her what our January Challenge was…..and she said Well – it’s a One-sided challenge???  Because YOU HAVE TO FINISH YOUR SEEING SPOTS CARDS!!!

So I did!!  These are the cards I sent her.

Well then – I was kinda on a Spots roll…..so decided to use them for my February Stamp a Stack which the ladies did last night.

For these we also used the Circle Circus Stamp Set.

SAS – Inspired by Nature

Last night the Ladies came over and we did a SAS.  We used the Inspired by Nature Stamp Set and Daubers to colour different parts of the Daisy stamp.

We used 2 x colour combos.  1 – So Saffron, Kiwi Kiss, More Mustard with a touch of Chocolate Chip.  2 - Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral & Ruby Red.

I really liked how they came out and find that at this time of year I have  a few birthday cards (friends & family) to get in the post or give out.  So I decided to use one of these cards.   Then I thought……nah – I might “Bling it up” a bit.  So this is what I did.

This is my SAS card

And this is my Blinged up version….

It’s slightly different in layout…..but the idea is the same.  Anyway – I posted it off today to a Birthday Belle…..I only hope that she does not read this blog!

Masculine SAS

Wow what a wonderful Blog Hop we had.  It was so much fun.  Everyone create such beautiful projects and I loved seeing the variety in our ideas.  I can’t wait for the next one.  Thanks to all who visited and left comments….I hope you come back to see my Blog again soon.

Well this week we did a Stamp a Stack Class.  The ladies had asked me to do Masculine cards…..so we did.

The colours used here are Bravo Burgundy, Sage Shadow & Creamy Caramel.  It’s the Totally Tools Stamp set….which is excellent for all sorts of MAN occasions.

Next up were these two…..

The colours are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand and the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set.  DSP is Urban Garden.  These cards were inspired by Stephanie Pike.

Just Beachy SAS

As mentioned in a previous post the Spring Mini is out now and runs through to 30th November. Inside the Mini Catalogue is a lovely collection of summery Stamps. One of the sets is called Just Beachy which I used for our Stamp a Stack class in August.

Pun Fun

I’ve recently met a group of ladies that asked me to do an extra Stamp-a-Stack – so I borrowed an idea from my good friend Alison.

Funny thing is – I’d also borrowed the Stamp Set from her too for this Stamp-a-Stack.  Thank you very much Ali.

The Stamp Set is Pun Fun and has some great Characters and sayings.  The background is the See You Around Wheel which is quite versatile and creates a great background.  We used the Crimper to add a bit of dimension to this project.
