JAI # 95 – Just Add Christmas – Non Traditional
I can’t believe it is almost December! The last few months have just flown by. I think (for me) that is mainly because I have just been so so so busy at work I hardly keep up with what day it is. Thankfully – the end of November is the end of our busy season and we can start to relax into the Christmas / Silly season. Wheww!
Given that Christmas is almost upon us – it’s fitting that the Just Add Ink Challenge this week is a Christmas one. We are Challenging you to Create a Christmas project using a Non-Traditional Christmas Stamp. Ohh I had so many ideas for this challenge…and just as well because I have a similar challenge running with Kim (my friend) and Nadine (my sister) too. So – for this week – here is my Just Add Ink, Non-traditional Card.
I’m calling it a Butterfly Snowflake. I decided to use Marina Mist – cause I love this colour and it’s not a traditional Christmas colour.
This Card was actually CASED from one done by my friend Tracey Wilson – in 2009. Tracey demonstrated some masking techniques and made the following card. The Stamp Set is Pocket Silhouettes.

Tracey used Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip for this card.
I look forward to showing you my other Non-Traditional Christmas project soon. Meanwhile – go to Just Add Ink and check out the other fantastic projects. Don’t forget to upload your projects so we can see them too.
JAI # 94 – Sketch
![MyProject6001[1]](http://inkeverywhere.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/myproject60011.jpg?w=455&h=455)
The Just Add Ink Sketch challenge this week is a round sketch. It really made me want to make a card with Flowers and Butterflies on it……..but then again……..I thought I would do something different. So looking at my stamps I selected a new Stamp set – that I have only used a few times so far. It’s called Under the Big Top and includes a selection of great little Circus characters. I also used the Designer Series Papers that match the Stamp set – Big Top Birthday. This helped me decide on the colours for my project – Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.

Rather than making a circular card, I decided to put my circle onto my card. I embossed the bottom portion of the card with the Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder and added some Linen Thread embellishments up the top.

JAI # 93 – Colour Combo
Hello…… This is my first post for a while – cause I am still sorting Computer probs….but I just have to get back into doing what I do – creating and posting my paper craft project…..so here we go.
This week at Just Add Ink it is Colour Combo time – and these colours are so so pretty. I just know I am going to use them again. Here they are:![JAI_CC_93[2]](http://inkeverywhere.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/jai_cc_932.jpg?w=455)
Here is the card I made:
It’s hard to see in this Pic, but I have sprayed this with a little bit for Glimmer Paint to give it a bit of sparkle. The colours are so pretty together. To see more made with these colours, check out Just Add Ink.
